EDEN ROCK GALLERY, from its location at the beach of the iconic hotel Eden Rock – St Barths, along with ART SAINT BARTH, promoting the island as an international art destination, invite the prestigious GALERIE PERROTIN to exhibit the work of Daniel Arsham.

New York-based Daniel Arsham’s eroded casts of aging technology – keyboards, guitars, Walkmen – creates an anachronistic view into our “future.” By using various geologic materials, his sculptures create a fictional narrative of a “future archeologist” discovering these long-forgotten relics for the first time.

Moons and Music will exhibit several cast objects as well as a number of never before exhibited paintings. The paintings will be Arsham’s first use of color in his work. Using the idyllic setting of St Barths as a scene of remote paradise, the exhibition aims to consider humanity’s relationship and often dependance on technology and our capacity for progress.
